As the head of Gannett’s innovation team, Laura built teams, products and businesses to support the company’s growth initiatives. Serving as the General Manager of The Bold Italic, Laura led the business, setting strategy, creating our monetization approach, and overseeing product and platform development.
Her team functioned as an insights, product development and business evolution agency inside Gannett. They used human-centered design techniques to uncover new product and revenue opportunities for Gannett’s corporate functions and business units.
Laura graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish and also holds an MBA in Design Strategy from the California College of the Arts.
